1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Buzzed Sports.

Account and profile information

When you create or maintain a Buzzed Sports account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, username, profile photo, account preferences, favorite teams, profile settings, and other information you choose to provide.

Content and community activity

If you use Buzzy Social, Community Chat, Fan Zone, groups, comments, reactions, polls, Pick'em, giveaways, or similar features, we may store the content and activity you submit, including posts, comments, selections, uploaded media and associated timestamps.

Usage and technical information

We may collect information about how Buzzed Sports is used, such as pages viewed, feature interactions, approximate device or browser information, session information, referral information, and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

Notifications and device information

If you choose to enable browser or app-style push notifications, we may store the technical device or subscription information required to deliver those notifications. You may disable notifications through your browser, device, or available Buzzed Sports settings.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and improve Buzzed Sports, including to:

• create and maintain accounts and profiles;
• provide personalized fan and community features;
• display posts, comments, reactions and other user content;
• operate Pick'em contests, giveaways, polls and trivia;
• deliver requested notifications;
• provide live, news, show and sports content;
• process and support purchases where applicable;
• measure performance and understand how features are used;
• prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access;
• troubleshoot technical issues; and
• comply with legal obligations.

3. Google API and Google Drive Data

Certain authorized Buzzed Sports administrators may connect Google services, including Google Drive, to internal Buzzed Sports HQ tools using Google's OAuth authorization process.

For Google Drive, Buzzed Sports requests limited access designed to let the application create, manage and retrieve files and folders used by the Buzzed Sports organization. Buzzed Sports may store Google OAuth authorization information, Drive file or folder identifiers, file metadata and other information needed to provide these features.

Access to connected Google data is limited to authorized use necessary to operate the applicable Buzzed Sports feature, maintain security, provide requested support, or comply with law.

The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

A Google connection may be revoked through the applicable Google Account permissions. Buzzed Sports may also provide controls to disconnect an integration through HQ.

4. Uploaded Photos, Video and Other Media

Buzzed Sports may allow users or authorized team members to upload profile photos, images, video, documents and other files.

Images may be resized, compressed, converted to efficient formats or otherwise processed so they can be displayed efficiently. Temporary processing files and unnecessarily large source copies may be deleted after successful processing when the original is not required for the feature.

Public-facing media may be delivered through third-party storage or content-delivery services. Internal business documents may be stored using approved cloud-storage providers such as Google Drive.

5. Third-Party Services

Buzzed Sports may use or connect with third-party services that help us operate the platform, publish content, deliver media, process purchases, provide analytics or support other features.

These services may include providers such as Google, YouTube, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, payment or commerce providers, hosting providers, email providers and other technology vendors.

When you choose to interact with a third-party service, that provider may process information according to its own terms and privacy policies.

6. Purchases and Merchandise

Buzzed Sports may provide merchandise and other purchase opportunities through our Shop or related commerce services. Payment information may be processed by payment providers rather than stored directly by Buzzed Sports.

We may retain order, fulfillment, customer-service and transaction records as needed to complete purchases and maintain appropriate business records.

7. Giveaways, Pick'em and Fan Activities

Information submitted for giveaways, Pick'em, contests or other fan activities may be used to administer the activity, determine eligibility, maintain standings, contact participants and deliver prizes where applicable.

Individual activities may include additional rules or eligibility requirements.

8. How We Share Information

Buzzed Sports does not sell your personal information.

We may share information when reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate the platform, when you direct us to interact with another service, to protect Buzzed Sports and its users, or when required by law.

Public content you choose to post to public areas of Buzzed Sports may be visible to other users and visitors according to the feature's privacy settings.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Buzzed Sports, maintain security, preserve legitimate business records, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Different information may have different retention periods. Deleted posts or media may be held temporarily for recovery, safety, moderation or backup purposes before permanent deletion.

Users may request available account or data changes through Buzzed Sports account or support tools.

10. Security

Buzzed Sports uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Sensitive integration credentials and OAuth tokens used by HQ are stored using protected server-side mechanisms.

No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children and Minors

Buzzed Sports is a general-audience sports platform. Users must be legally permitted to use the services available to them. Parents or guardians should supervise use by minors where required.

Individual contests, promotions, purchases or features may have separate age or eligibility requirements.

12. Changes to This Policy

Buzzed Sports may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, services or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we may provide an updated effective date or additional notice when appropriate.
